This page explains how to request deletion of your NEC License Exam account and the data associated with it. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the NEC License Exam app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile (or Settings).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by entering your password when prompted.
- Your account and associated data are then permanently removed.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address you registered with at santoshrawal1125@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account information — email address, full name, and phone number.
- Your saved password (stored only as a secure hash).
- All of your mock-test attempts, submitted answers, and scores.
- Any authentication tokens issued to your account.
What data is kept, and for how long
- Anonymous guest activity. Tests taken without signing in are not linked to any account and contain no personal information; they are unaffected by account deletion.
- Basic security logs. Server request logs (such as IP address and timestamps) may be retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, after which they are automatically discarded.
- Backups. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
- Legal records. We retain information only where required to comply with a legal obligation.
